30,000-mile Visits and Routine Maintenance

You are already getting your oil changed like a champ and staying on top of other routine maintenance tasks, right? The 30,000-mile visit can easily combine with these basics to save you an extra trip to the dealership. At the 30,000-mile visit, we change your oil and oil filter and provide up to 6 quarts of oil. We will conduct a standard tire rotation and inflation/pressure check and inspect your tires for signs of wear. We also get out the depth gauge to determine if your tires are ready for replacement and change your engine's air filter. All other fluids, such as transmission fluid, are also checked for levels and any signs of degradation.

What's Special About the 30,000-mile Visit?

Many inspections are included in the 30,000-mile visit to ensure your vehicle is operating efficiently and safely. A careful inspection now can help detect the early signs of any system issues and keep you motoring for the next tens of thousands of miles. During your visit, we inspect the engine cooling system level, strength, and hoses to make sure your engine stays cool on the road and operates at peak performance in the winter months. We also make sure your exhaust system and heat shields are in good working order. Your wheels will get the once over and checked for abnormal noise, wear, looseness or drag. In the long run, this can help prevent your tires from wearing out too quickly. A full multi-point inspection is included.

What Other Components do you Double-Check at the Maintenance Visit?

The 30,000-mile check includes inspection of half-shaft boots and your Ford's steering linkage, ball joints, suspension, tie-rod ends, driveshaft, and U-joints. If your vehicle is equipped with grease fittings, we will do a lubrication job. We also inspect your brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, brake linings, hoses, and parking brake to ensure you can stop safely and quickly when needed.
